espresso syrup recipe

Use fresh brewed espresso for best flavor. This versatile syrup is spiced with cinnamon and fresh oranges. It can be used as a flavoring for desserts and sauces, or used on pancakes, ice cream and gelato. Keep this on hand in the refrigerator.

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoon fresh orange zest
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brewed espresso
